Witchcraft 101 (Class 5)
Are you curious? Do you want to learn what Witchcraft really is and how to practice magick, but don’t know who to ask or how to find out? Stephanie Long has been a practicing Witch for more than 8 years. She is a 3rd Degree Witch and High Priestess of The Blood Red Moon, an initiatory Coven which is of Gardnerian, Alexandrian & Dianic descent. Stephanie offers a series of classes beginning with Witchcraft 101. Witchcraft 101 will be 5 classes that will teach you the basic mechanics of the “Old Religion.” This class will include a brief overview of the history of her tradition as well as, discussions on Goddess worship, the elements, the tools of the craft, basic circle casting and closing, calling the quarters, how to set up your altar and the ethics of practicing Witchcraft. You will need to bring paper and pen for taking notes and one of your personal working tools to the last class. Handouts and anything else needed will be provided. There is a 4 person minimum attendance in each class. Class 5: We will prepare and cast the circle wherein we will charge or activate one or more of your personal working tools. I will provide the necessary materials (paint, paint brushes, and etc.) and guide you through the process of charging one or more of your personal tools. Be it the cup, athame, pentacle, or wand which ever you choose, we will do as many of them as time permits. We will say farewell and close the circle. Any questions will be answered.
